Volunteer registration is open for the Air Force Marathon to held on 19 September 2026
Many volunteers are needed for this event. Due to Base access and security requirements you need to register in advance if you plan to attend, even if you already have credentials to access Wright Patterson AFB.
Registration usually closes a few weeks before the event, so please register early.
To register: go to https://www.usafmarathon.com/volunteer/
Click on the “Volunteer” button
Click on the hyperlink
Click on one of the “Register” buttons (left or right side of the page)
Select “Amateur Radio Operator”
Fill out the rest of the form, including your Callsign
Click on the “Add to order” check box
Select your T-shirt size
Click on “Continue”
Check the “I agree” box
Click on “Continue”
Verify your information, and if all correct, click on “Submit Order”
You should quickly get an e-mail confirmation of your registration
Once you have registered, please drop a note to Bob, N8ADO to let him know
