Current ARES Training Net Rotation
NOTE: ON THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH, THE NET CONTROL OPERATOR SHOULD REMEMBER TO GET MVPT TEST INFO
* Denotes dates of the monthly MVPT test dates. Net Control Operators record stations that received the test and note stations that did not get the test and are subscribed to the MVPT list.
We are always looking for new Net Control Operators. A lot of the Net Control Operators that call the weekly net have other duties in the event of an activation of District 3 in the case of any emergency. Having a team of TRAINED Net Control Operators ensures the District 3 Net will have the ability to perform as a useful part of the Ohio Section ARES team. The weekly training net is one of the best ways to get the skills needed to operate as a Net Control during times of a emergency.
Requirements to be A Net Control Operator:
Must be able to reliably work the 145.110/224.160 repeater and the 146.820 as a back up
