Twisted Pretzel Tour
It is that time of year again!
We are gearing up for the 2026 Twisted Pretzel Tour on Saturday, September 26th, and we need your help to make it a success.
Last year’s event was fantastic, and that was largely due to the incredible support from all of our volunteers and ham radio operators. This year, we aim to grow our volunteer base.
Here are the key details for this year’s event:
Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Meeting Time: Approximately 7:00 AM
Location: Germantown Senior Center (Downtown Germantown)
What’s New: We have made a few course adjustments to enhance safety and the overall experience, including reducing rider traffic on Diamond Mill Road. These changes should also improve operations and communications for our ham radio team.
Communication packets will be prepared and distributed to everyone prior to event day.
How You Can Help:
RSVP: Please send me a quick email or SMS text message letting me know if you can or cannot participate this year. (We have a few returning volunteers who are unavailable, so an accurate count is critical.)
Spread the Word: If you know anyone, or any local radio/service groups, who might be interested in volunteering, please forward them my email and phone number.
