Miamisburg Turkey Trot 26 November 26

Amateur radio operators will be needed to help with communications and safety with the Miamisburg Turkey Trot on Thursday, 26 November 2026

This is a 5-mile race / walk in and around the south side of Miamisburg. The event normally hosts 6000 to 8000 participants. We work closely with The Miamisburg Police Department and the Miami Valley Fire District.

Race start at 8:30 AM on Thursday November 26 Thanksgiving Morning .

One needs to be in location by 7:30 due to street closures. Ops will be able to secure as the Tail-end-Charlie passes them on the in-bound leg. There will be a directed net during the event.

The Ohio River Road Runners is giving each volunteer a crew neck sweatshirt this year, but I must have them ordered before Nov 6. and you must work the event.
