They are fast, making it difficult to report runner times, but we try!<\/p>\n<p>We need at least two (better: 3 or 4) sharp-eyed spotters at miles 1 and 2.The start can be covered by one of the ops at mile 2 and the finish by the mile 1 ops. The op that provides the information to the announcer could act as net control. (Minimum of 5 volunteers needed, preferably more will volunteer). It would be useful to cover some of the remote areas of the course in case a runner has an issue.<\/p>\n<p>The date coincides with the State ARES Conference. I will be a presenter at the conference, so I will not be able to participate in this event.
